Alex Cuff (b. 1976, Brooklyn) is a writer and educator living in Brooklyn, NY. She is a co-founding editor of No, Dear, and teaches reading and writing at the Academy for Young Writers. Her chapbooks include I Try Out A Sentence to See Whether I Believe (Ghost Proposal) and Family, A Natural Wonder (Reality Beach).Her first full-length collection of poetry, Common Amnesias, was published in May 2024 from Ugly Duckling Presse, and available for order here. She lives in Flatbush, Lenapehoking, with her partner, and feline extended family—Karl, Kuma and Medb.
